Peanut Butter & Cocoa Cookies

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups - All-Purpose Flour

1/2 cup - Unsalted Butter (Room Temperature)

1 cup - Peanut Butter

1/2 cup - Brown Sugar

1/2 cup - Sugar

1/4 cup - Cocoa Powder

1tsp - Vanilla Extract

1 - Egg (Room Temperature)

3/4 tsp - Baking Powder

1/4 cup - Heavy Cream

Sea Salt



Preparation

  1. Preheat over to 350*F.

  2. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking powder and cocoa powder.

  3. Using a hand mixer, cream together butter, brown sugar and sugar. Add 1/2 tsp of salt.

  4. Once creamy, add in peanut butter, egg, heavy cream and vanilla extract. Beat until fluffy.

  5. Slowly add in flour mixture until well incorporated.

  6. Roll 1-in dough balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  7. Place in oven for 2 minutes. (Remove after 2 minutes and flatten cookies with a fork, making a criss-cross pattern. Allowing the cooking a few moments to cook will keep them from cracking).

  8. Return cookies to the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.

  9. Allow cookies time to cool on baking sheet (10 minutes), then transfer to a cooling rack.
